Camel has also been awarded the " Griffith Park Backside Sliders Medallion " with two "Pucker Clusters" for his inspiring performances aboard numerous test bikes while negotiating the hazards of the observatory parking lo t. On April 16 last he was nominated for and subsequently won. by an overwhelming majority, the coveted "Half Ass Award ... ·an accolade few others can claim. As for "Hunt 'N Peck. his conquests arc many and far too numerous to na me here. "Suffice it to men ti o n his most recen t award. Locked in fierce co m petition wi t h t he very best writer/riders in t he co unt ry during a w ring-ernout-and-hang-ern-up-to-dry session at Indian Dunes, Peck emerged from the fray the proud bearer of the "Second to Last Place Winged Victory" trophy.
