Stark looked like he was pl ayi ng with the other rid ers as he took first overall in the J un ior race . After his ~victOry St ark stated that nex t wee k he -ould be rid ing Expert. The 125 Expe t class was won by Phil Tignor (Ha n) even after sufferin g a broken chain in the second mo t a . The th ird mo ta of the 250 Junior and Expert race tu rned o ut to be the m ost exciting o f the evening with th ree riders, Leo Saul (Suz ), To m Cross (YZ) , and Glen Ap ling (YZ) tied for first. Mark Taylor grabbed the lead followed by Saul an d Apling. Mean while , Cross had killed his motor coming off th e lin e and ha d to wo r k his way up through a pac k. In the sixt h lap Cross took the lead and held it to give him fir st overall . Second place went to Ap ling and third to Sau l.
