Palm Springs to victory at Corona By Terri Buchanan CORONA, CAL ., FE B. 28 Palm Springs High cap t ured the overall win Friday , February 28 at Corona Raceway 's High School Motocross races, with 165 po ints. Pol y claimed second with I 10 , Chi no had 88, Bloomington got 22 and Montclair, 8. After clai ming first overall in the 125 Senior class, Vincent Gonzales (Palm Springs, Hus) came back to clench the 250 Senior class overall win . Nick Barrick (Palm Springs, KTM ) go t a close second, followed by J ack BurchalI (Palm Sp rings, Yam ). Bar ric k marked up firsts in all three mot os of the 500 Senior class wit h excellen t ridi ng. Tom McMich ael (Pa lm Springs, Ho n ) ro de h is way to secon d o verall over Jim Robi ns on (Palm Springs, Yam ).
