It was a cold and stormy day for the first Canadian Motocross
, Grand Prix •••• but even colder for Suzuki's opposition.

While leading the first moto, Roger DeCoster crashed but still
was able to get up and finish 3rd •••• one place ahead of
teammate Gerrit Wolsink (winner of the U.S. Grand Prix).
The second moto •••• a Suzuki blitz. A first for DeCoster
and a second for Wolsink to give Suzuki a 1-2 sweep overall.
Suzuki stars serve notice •••• on Trans-AMA contenders
