Hall was only inches behind Campbell and Lester Calvert was only in ches behind Hall as the three riders battled for the lead. Campbell led for half the race but lost his concentration and went wide co ming out of a corn er letting Hall and Ca lvert by . Les Calvert was the early leader of the 250 Hand ica p but Mike Hall got by with Jim Hubbard and brother Ray also putting the move on Calvert. Hall went o n for the win, his se co nd o f the night and his fifth win o ut of si x ra ces at Cydei and in th e last three week s. Ray Hubbard was sec o nd getting his first trophy here and b rother Jim was third getting about his hundredth .
