top honors in the grueling Qualifying
. Series for the International Six Day Trials,
finishing the six-event series as l75cc class
champion and sharing a 3-way tie for the
National Championship. Bill conquered
some 2500 miles of the toughest courses in
America to win six Gold Medals.
