wasn't too happy tha t SRA wan ted his kid to ride both loops. The kid was on a 90cc Yamaha but SRA changed hi m to a one looper after the kid finished the first loop. There were a lot of riders getting lost right off the start of the second loo p , for two reasons. First the second loop was marked with white ribbon which is hard to see anyway and then the course took off at a right angle just 50 feet out. Second, a lot of riders thought the start was like a hare and hound, go as fast as you ca n . T hey blew righ t by the t rail goi ng off to the right and headed o ut into the vast Moj a ve Desert followi ng th e trail. no t th e rib bo n . A co uple o f arrows wo uld ha ve p revented a lo t o f problem s. The sec ond loo p was eas ier than the first but t he wh ite ri bbon was a p roblem to fo llo w at t im es. SRA has the kn ack o f layin g o ut a goo d en d uro but co ul d im p rove t hings with a lit tle more work in setting up turn ar ro ws and impro vin g the pit racin g situa tion .
