Th is week was the last of th e fo ur
consecu tive $500 purse races Al\IC
held . and th is time the racing was
on the entire U.S. G P co urse at
Carlsbad . It was real motocross in t he
original sense of the wo rd, and that's a
rare thing in Southern California.
In the firs t m ot o of the 250 Pro race
it looked as if it was going to Mor rts
