Don't bet on it. That catching rumor surrounding the possible revocation of Daytona laurels from Team Yamaha are proving to be little more than rumor. The referred to action by the FlM apparently was a retrospective look into the future, through a glass darkly so it seems. A pre dic tion relating to an alteration of the homologat ion rule would seem at this time a strong possibility. The AMA and the North American Trials Council have combined efforts to establ ish the f irst U.S. National Ch ampionship Tr ials ser ies. Riders wishing to compete must be ranked as a local Expert and must subm it a letter of i n t e n t to the AMA, Box 141 , Westerville, Oh io 43081. Entries must be submitted before June 1, 1974.
