The riders were treated to excellent tra ck 'and weather cond itio ns for their raci ng today. In the Expert classes t here was so me very tigb t rid in g go ing o n. T he Open Expert was won b y Bultaco mounted Greg Fer gu son who never lo o ked back during the en tire race . Fe rguson was followed by Steve Young (S uz ). A small gro up of 250 Experts were on hand today and that class was won by Steve You ng agai n m o u n ted on a Suzuki. The 12 5 Expert were domin ated b y Can -Am rider Jim Hubbard who led fro m sta rt to fin ish. Hubbard wa s fo llo wed across b y Renny Burns (S uz).
