Perhaps if Mr. Petty would consider how many millions of dollars in taxes were paid by the American Taxpayer in behalf of the oil companies (ever hear of the good 01' oil deple tion allowance?) he wouldn't be as awe-struck by the bargain prices he feels h e received. "N ationalization" or the th reat of same is the only language the o il monopoly understands.
