We picked the story up from the general press which was in error also. NATIONAL DISASTER FOR ITALY: Many-time (we lost count) world road racing champ Giacomo Agostini has signed to ride for Yamaha. He appasen t1y didn't like getting beaten by another MV rider, Phil Read. He is going to be much, much harder to beat now. Triumph-BSA-Norton's nte:ing team for next year will apparently consist of Dave Aldana and Mike KicId. Gary Scott went to Harley, Dick Mann broke his leg, and Gene Romero _nt to Yamaha. If you're a tourer and feeling the ever-increasing distance between gas stations, you might inquire at your dealer about larger gas tanks. Most bikes as they are delivered in Europe come with bigger gas tanks. Yamaha,. for example, offers European tank as an option "touring" tank in this country. They make bigger tanks for their other bikes, too, if you can get them. Triumph and Kawasaki also make bigger tanks for their European bikes. They'll probably be thin king about importing them righ t soon.
