The unique intake manifold, and a rotary valve located at the end of the crankshaft, result in a very narrow engine. Engine lubricant is carried in the frame and fed to vital parts by a dual pressure pump system that feeds undilu ted oil to the crank. The transmission has six speeds and primary starting. Perhaps the most unique item on the Can-Am is the adjustable front fork system, which allows angle changes from' 25 to 31 degrees. The en tire Kickstarter and exhaust are well tucked, however exhaust exits too close to shock absorber.
