",mi.~~:4:=.·TriumphsDebut q,t Ontario
unveiled their 1973 models at Ontario
Motor Speedway last weekend. For
1972 there will only be one BSA model,
the Victor 500 MX (second from
bottom). The company will continue to
distribute the Rickman machines and
for 1973 a 125 enduro machine is being
produced.
Triumph will nave the most
machines, six in all. The most startling is
the Hurricane X-75. "Designed for the
man who wants something different,"
they say. 1 t was designed by Craig
Vetter originally as a 13SA but the
BSA·3 was dropped. It will be a limited
production model.
The rest of the Triumph line has
been updated with the street machines
that were 650 twins being punched out
to 750 and receiving disc brakes and
high bars. The trophy trail was well
received at the preview. 1t is a very
handsome 500cc twin with a 21 inch
front wheel. The exhaust system
features a collector on the lower right
hand engine area.
Also to be produced but not shown
here will be several other Rickman
motocrossers, and a less exotic version
of the Triumph 750-3. All Triumphs
will have.either 500 or 750cc engines.·

You too can be a MAN
(Motorcyclist Against Noise).
As a motorcyclist today,
you face the loss
of your right to ride
on thousands of acres
of public land.
The way to beat
the problem is to meet
it like a MAN.
Don't be shut out.
Keep. down the fences
by keeping down
the noise.
