Gary Newman won a combined 500-650 Expert [mal with new Ex~rt number 13B, Mike Faria, moving up to second, Dennis Kalamaras took the lead from Randy Hancock on the first lap and then went on to win in the 175 Junior class. Trophy girls, Kerry Williamson and Eileen O'Shaughnessy from Napa and Donna Thayer from San Pablo presented class champion trophies after the races with the Vallejo overall winner going to Dave Faria of EI Sobrante. , Dealer involvement is one thing that makes amateur racing go in Northern California. Cycle West is behind that fast Ossa that Larry Drew rides plus multitudes of young customers such as Bill Bisel, the point champion for the 200 class.
