At the riders' meeting a poll was taken of the 125 Experts and permission was granted to let him ride his 100cc Kawasaki in that division as well as the 100 Expert. He blew them off the track winning the 100 Amateur and Expert, 125 Amateur and Expert and the Sweepstakes. In the 100 Am/Ex, it was Scott Nicol (Suz) who had the second place trophy. Scott is looking better every time he takes the track and he has just made . Grit your teeth and I~ Amateur in District 37. Mark Reichert (Yam) was the one that Rob Morrison dusted in die 125 Am/Ex. Mark earned second placehonors after a battle with Larry· Bird (Yam) and Charlie Williams (Yam). After seventy-nine races comprised of 264 entries it was time for the sweepstakes. Rob Morrison did it again! Another 100cc rider, Robert Murray (Kaw), really made his presence known in the Sweeps, hanging in there right behind Morrison most of the way, and Murray is bu t a 13 year-old Novice. it.
