So NGK builds a plug for practicallyevery internal'combustion engine made. . Also, being mechanically hip, you appreciate quality and efficiency. So we build the most efficient, toughest plug we can. The kind you'd want to put in your own car, bike, outboard, buggy ... whatever. But all our plugs-and ittakes the company computer to keep track of them - have one thing in common: a never-say-die "Heart of Copper". Used in place of ordinary iron cores, this highly conductive copper core delivers maxirT)um performance under all conditions. It dissipates heat fast, cuts down plug damaging hot spots and piston-popping pre-ignition. A long-nosed insulator holds just the right amount of heat to reduce tip fouling. In hot engines or cold, under easy or hard use, NGK's fire on time, every time. If you're a motorcycle owner, you probably know all about NGK performance. You sports car types do, too. But NGK's work just as great in utility and recreational vehicles. And they'll fire-up your hairy V-8 as quick as your one-I unger saw. Take our tip. Screw in a set of "Heart of Copper" NGK's. They're a change for the better. NGK, the long life, hi-performance plug. Arroyo Racers Aim For Trophies By David Oberhelman STODDARD WELLS, CAL., June 5, 1971 - Arroyo Racing Association began its Saturday series today and will end on June 19 when a high point trophy will be given in each class. The day began with a dozen under 16 riders fighting it out over the four-mile course and David Lasch walked away with the gold. The 100cc and 125 cc classes were combined due to a small number of entries. Scott Haislip picked off first place in the 100cc division with his usual fine performance. The 125 honors were well earned by Steve Plaisance who came all the way from Yuma, Ariz. The show of the day was the combined 250cc-Open class event. When the banner dropped, Greg Seda on a 250cc Yamaha took the lead over desert pro Dick Breker. Seda maintained this lead until he blew a rear tire. This gave Breker the overall win and flTst place in the Open class. The 250cc Division went to Troy Hollis who put in a spectacular performance after having started about one minute late. The second 250 place went to Joe Jones who has recovered from his accident at Arroyo's last race.
