YAMAHA is there
.Kenny Roberts, top Novice in the nation last year, got off to a flying start as an
AMA Junior class rider. Winning the Junior Championship event in the Astrodome
before 35,000 plus wildly cheering fans. Ken's victory didn't come easy as he
renewed his battle with Gary Scott. Young Roberts applied the pressure lap after lap
making good on his bid for the checkered on number 8 of the 10 lap Junior feature.
The excellently prepared Yamaha, sponsored by A&A Motors, gave Kenny the speed
and handling to thrill the crowd with slides that left little space between handlebar
and ground. Kenny Roberts again proves ... Yamaha, it's a better machine.
