Chris Carr and Kevin Schwantz were featured on the cover of Cycle
News 30 years ago. Carr led the way at the Louisville Half-Mile, and
Schwantz out -dueled Wayne Rainey to win the German Grand Prix at
Nurburgring... Jean-Michel Bayle won the Camel Supercross Series
round at Foxboro... Larry Ward won the 11th Annual Molson Export
Toronto Supercross over Jeremy
McGrath and Carl Vaillancourt...
Kevin Hines won the Little Burr
National Enduro in Ohio.

Matt Mladin and Troy Bayliss shared the cover 20 years ago. Mladin
won the AMA Superbike at Road Atlanta, and Bayliss topped the World
Superbikes at Hockenheim... At Road Atlanta, Eric Bostrom captured
his first 600cc Supersport win, and Kurtis Roberts won the Formula
Xtreme class... We featured an interview with Carlos Checa... James
Dobb won the 125cc Motocross Grand Prix at Foxhill Moto Parc in
England. The 125s raced on Saturday, but Sunday's 250 and 500cc GPs
were canceled because of rain.
