It was Hammargren's first win 10 the current series. He won the first leg despite rear suspension trouble and tinisbed tourth 10 the second race. The first race was dramatic. Sunday's event got started under very pleasant skies but a sudden thunderstorm sent the riders, checkers and spectators scurrying tor sbelter. Most rlders are w1ll1ng to press on despite tile 45 minute downpour but several at the checkers became drenched and bad to dePart their sections.
