The 100cc Trail class started fifteen minutes after the big bikes. Young Br1an Klock bad the lead, with number one Jack Morgan second. After a long first loop Dave Ekins came through 10 the lead with Morgan right on his taU. Morgan didn't stop for gas so he gained some on Ekins, but Ekins was able to make it lIP and came 10 for the Trailbike win finisbing tb1rty-tblrd overall onb1sH-D. At the finish 110e be said, "the only trouble I bad was that I lost my number plate and bad to yell it out at each check. 'Ibis was a good run. There were long fifty miles loops." Jlm Sumners on a Hcxtaka finished second, Steve Fortner was tblrd, and Jack Morgan earned fourth after runn1ng out of gas.
