The 350-500 Norice played see-saw the tirst two· motos an the last moto and the w1n was taken by D. Kohnhott. D. Templeton was in second. In the Open Novice no one could really tell who would win, but T. Dell on a BSA came 10 first just ahead of D. Fletcher on a Triumph. The Sweepstakes was won by Vanderpool. Second was T. McK'ee. The 100 Noivlce Novice class was pretty wUd. It was won by H. Boll on a Yamaha, J. Kirkendoll on a SUZuki in second and tbiTd was B. Butt. Over 100 Novice Novice class was won by B. McMilliam, with D. Critser In second, and J. Porter third. M. Grigg won the Powder Puff with a big lead on a Yamaha over K. Bochert and her Hodaka. In the 100 Novice it was J. Steeber on a Hodaka and Yamaha mounted D. Remp took second with L. Bochkay third on a Honda. The 125 Expert class won won by K. Tennis on a Yamaha and the second man was R. Vanderpool. The 125 NOTice class was really superb, with everybody trying bard. D. Tudor on a Yamaha was first, V. Steeber got the second spot on a Yamaha and In tblrd on a Bultaco was G. Wlckam. Among the 200-250 Experts B. Hardison came In first on a Kawasaki and In second was G. Wlckam on a Bultaco. 100 Expert V. Hannon was out In tront of bis class at first. but T. McKee took the trophy and the first place honor. Hannon came In second. In tblrd G. Wlckam was trying hard. io the 200-250 Novice on a Bultaco J. Burnbam placed first. B. MORE Is prOTing successful because It Is: Statewide In scope; DOIldemandlng upon the membersbip; servIng all members equally; providing an effective lobby; and inexpensive to joln." MORE is employing a unique method of making the motorcycling fraternlty's needs known. As members are signed up, data from the registration torm is loput to a computer and coded 10 such a manner as to coincide with the areas represented by various lawmakers and legislative groups at the city and county level as well as the state and federal level. By this means, MORE's full-time lobbyist can advise the applicable law makers of the number of constituents (in total and in terms of registered voters) wbom be represents.
