The visitors J. Barham and Bill Keljl won It by a nose. (Complete results are Wlavallable at presstime). PLACERVILLE, CA. May 25-BillSalzman Is a winner, but consistency Isn't bls bag. Unfortunately for Bll1, It takes both to toP a class In motocross. He won two motos In the Amateur-Expert 25lcc class after bard duels with Bob Holstein, but flnlshed so badly In the lhlrd that be earned only 2nd place overall. In the 250 Amateur-Expert, battling with Bob Bowers, the same thing happened. Contrasted to the previous wet motocross scene, the Placerville track was politively dusty. Lots of Reno riders came for the show, but only one finished In the brass: John Moore, 2nd 250 Novice.
