On June 8 and 9, It was High Sierra
Tour time again, and over 1,000 riders
headed north for Lone Pine, Ca1Iforn1a.,
on one of the most popular and eagerly
a waited road tours of the year. Many
enthusiastic r iders were packed and
ready to go a week ahead of time, and
hit the road at the earliest possible
moment after getting off work on Friday.
The 13th Tour proved lucky for most
r iders , with the regrettable exception of
the Nuggets Club. Two of their r iders
collided, and some serious injuries resulted.
