Several complaints were issue d by the poor people who had sent in their hard-earned money to sit in the airconditioned sectio n. The air-conditioning did not work. One person in this section was a refrigeration and air-conditioning specialist and he offered the benefit of his twenty years experience GRATIS but the promoter didn't seem very interested because when these sweltering people went to talk to him, :ill they found was the promoter sprinting across the parking lot. They speculated that he was on the way to the night-depository with their mon ey. These people, from the Square Wheels MC of Marion , Ohio who had sent $120.00 for their seats, and the Mansfield MC, Mansfield, Ohio who had sent $70.00 for their reserved and air-conditioned seats , promised to write letters to lhts paper expressing the ir views. Some of their views include moving the l5-mlle National to some other location. The riders probably would be in favor of that suggestion because of the tremendous beating that the me n an d machines receive from the loose gravel on the horse track.
