The run took them through 70 mil es or countryside from the s tart a t San F ernando Harley-Davidson to the finish at the Eagles Hall In Oxnard, Cal1!. Ne xt was the Oxnard club's famous crooked plank race...really fun. Then the passengers got their chance to maneuver for a mustard-covered hotdog suspended fr om . a stick. Female Solo winner was Doris Perrez, and Donna Phelps and Lois Kisner finished 2- 3•• The Oxnard III.C.'s crooked plank race always attracts a lot ofattention from spectators. Topping olf the day's activiti es was presenta ti on of the Pe te Ver a Memor ial Tr ophy. Pe te was a membe r of the Oxnard M.C. and the Eagles M.C. of Oxnard.
