Up this point we've been pretty
fortuDate and have oot bad to spend

of steel strap and tube that is. Bowever, the time has come for us to part
with some of our bard-eamed long
green.
hen I first began casting about
looking for a tank aDd fairing for our
bike, it became very clear that these
components are oot exactly floodIng
the market. Sure, you can get them
for tbe 125cc or larger bikes, but the
smaller versions are hard to com e by.

top tube. ow set the tank in place.
aDd bend the strap so it just toucbes
the bottom of tbe tank. Thai's all
there is to it. It couldD"t be any
simpler. Later on we'll show you bow
to make the tie-down for the top.
Tile fairing mounts take a little
more doing. I could go into a long
dissertation on how to build the
mounts. but I'm afraid it would make
tbe job sound more difficult than it
really is. Study tbe photos carefully
and yon'll see just how it's done.
You'll notice there are two straps
reinforcing the main forward mountmg tube. Without this additional sup-
