The hill course was used and was in excellent condition. The Bultaco supremacy in· the 200cc class was badly shaken when Jerry Clark of san Jose rode a Bridgestpne 175 to a very impressive win. Jerry has been jousting witb the new c:ycle in the District 36 area tracks. It was not until this event that the right combination came about to turn 3 prior wins into a Main Event victor-y for Jerry. The Bridgestone is shown leading through the very tricky switchbacks heading down the hill of the ranch course.
