Gene Romero came from way back to run a closing fourth in the late late laps. Tbe Amateur chase bad Marty Mac Donald in for bis first win on the big bites. Marty outlasted fellow H-D rider Pbil Todd to score the win. Marty also won bis beat race. Two Amateurs highlighted the action.
