Most motorcycle racers have to watch tbeir budget fairly closely and $3.25 a race can eat into a budget pretty fast when you figure out that we all have to drive a long way to a track and that takes gas. plus paying through the pte for the wife and kiddies and then if a couple of the kiddies like to race as well ... well!
