The track was super smooth, fast and held UP well. By the time the pack went over the first hill, L. Davis on a BSA was first with J. Kapp, Greeves-mounted. nmning 2nd. an unidentified bike in 3rd with your reporter on a Triumph in 4th. Looking at the race this way you see more than by standing on the sideline. In the part ahead of you, you see it all, but nothing behind. Some of the sliding that goes on here has to be felt to be believed. This reporter was able to get a 3rd with J. Kapp on a Greeves in 2nd and L. Davis winning it on a &SA. Little Riders Wom.. and chlldr.. first! AlDye: a pre ...... acer. Riehl: IIlss Lana Palp -jOJ' II. In the 100cc heats we find one of the smaller riders at EIsinore in the person of Keith Tennis, age 13, on a 90cc Bridgestone. Keith got a 4th in his first heat and won his 2nd. Young Tennis has been riding since he was eight! He hails from Hacienda Heights. loves to race and says he has a tough job passing, plays regular sports at school.
