MEET THE RACERS calm mannered. dark haired bachelor. He started racing in 1962. riding scrambles. He became a Novice in 1963. In 1964 he turned Amateur and went on to become an expert in 1965. Bob was then given the National 98 number. Bob rode a 250 B'3A as a Novice. but turned to Triumph when he became a Amateur. which be still rides. Bob favors no one type of racing. He Says he just likes to ride and ertiQYs every race track he races on. He relates that bis bi ggest win so far was the Pennsylvania Dutch Classic. At the beginning of the season this year Bob went down at Hightstown. New Jersey and broke a shoulder. This put him out of racing for the prime part of tbe year in the East and Mid-West. He made his first time appearance in California showing race fans his great Eastern style of riding at tbe last Tulare half-mile.
