Here are the prelimiuary changes that came out of the first two days of conference: TOUR AWARDS REINSTATED FOR ROAD RIDERS AMA tour award shoulder patches are already being sent out to participating clubs for 1966 and to AMA President William Kennedy assumes that MThe tour awards will be continued for 1967.· AMA makes no charge for the attractive, machine-stitched shpulder patches and every club entitled to them may obtain some by writing to the AMA at 5030 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio. The lease has been signed and city officials have agreed to rename the colonial style, brick edifice in honor of its chief tenant, the American Motorcycle Association Building. BROOKS HALL 1966 MORE STAFFERS FOR AMA OFFICES INTERNATIONAL Candidates for two important new position in the AMA administration were being interviewed in Columbus last weekend. These may be the longpromised assistants that will free the Executive Secretary and other managers from minor duties and allow them to concentrate their talents on the most important matters. SPORT CYCLE NO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SCRAMBLES DEC. 15-18 Unless a minor miracle happens, there will again be no National Scrambles Championship sanction issued in 1967. JULES HORKY HONORED FOR 20 YEARS SERVICE At a dinner near Columbus Saturday night Jules Horky, competition coordinator, was presented a token of appreciation for his 20 years of service with the AMA.
