Wisconsin which is [ilty miles to the North. This was also a half-mile and a ni~ race. but not a fair date. This was the third half-mile run here this year on the five-cornered track. In the Amatam Final winner's circle it was the familiar face of Jack Warren. Howard Jacob was in second and almost caught Mr. warren. Barry Whitmore was third and Mc a.irJ' was fourth. In the Espert Final there was a surprise win. This was taken bJ Tom Warden of Ohio. He rode her wide open to the checkered flag. Joe Messaros was second. John Hall was lhird and Neil Keen was fourth. This was the end of a long weekend. I traveled almost 1600 miles DlYself and do did most of the others. We also bear that II.ert Lawwill is coming along great and will he r:idin.g again soon.
