BGHT STATES ENTER CARLSBAD ROAD RACE Sandy Belond announce d today that riders from California, Washington, Oregon, utah, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Arkansas have already filed entries for tbe coming AMA professional race to be held at Carlsbad Raceway on Sunday, May 15th. Both Daytona winners are being flown in es pecia lly for the event. Bob Winters and Buddy E lmore , the two Daytona front runners, will be here to ride on the Yamaha racin g team and headline the li s t of various champions . Beland is looking for at least 50 experts and close to 100 novice riders for the purs e payin g event. He has already signed the front running four riders from the Daytona 100 mile 250cc amateur expert race, two of the top four In the 200 mile national big bike event and the novice winner: W Fulton, Jr. alt No advanc ed entry is required.
