Paul Lass will find him comfortably installed in the 5&J Harley-Davidson dealersh ip which he purchased last week from
ex-proprietor Bill Schroeder. Schroeder
had gone fishing and was unavailable for
comment.
Located at 16211 S. Lalcewood Blvd. in
Bellflower, the agency was the nation's
largest volume H-D seller last year and
the service department does a thriving
business in Highway Patrol maintenance.
Lass will retain the 5&J name, as wen as
its staff and policies for the time being.
Many will remember Paul as *25- District
scrambler in 1960. Lettered on
his cycle was the slogan uBuift to Haul
Lass", A native Californian, presently
secretary of the Downey Businessmen's
Exchange Club, Paul an d his lovely wife
Rhonda will be talcing a more active part
in S. Cal road activities, he states.

association has filled that one vacant spot
in drag racing by promising a few unusual
