Misano... Larry Roeseler won the Gene Miller Memorial ISDE Qualifer at
Idaho City... Andrea Bartolini won the 125cc MX GP in Czechoslovakia but
American Donny Schmit increased
his points lead; Bobby Moore won
the first moto.

Jay Springsteen finally got that elusive Springfield Mile win 20 years
ago, and with it came a photo on the cover of Cycle News Loris
Capirossi won the 500cc Grand Prix of Mugello... It was a wet and
muddy one at the High Point National MX in Pennsylvania, where David
Vuillemin came away with the win; Kelly Smith got his first career win
in the 125cc class... Fred Andrews won The Moose Run Off-Road
Championship Series round in Illinois.
