The outdoor National MX Series got underway at Glen Helen Raceway 20
years ago where Kawasaki rider Ricky Carmichael, who was pictured on
the cover, won both 250cc motos. Stephane Roncada took the 125cc-
class win after trading moto wins with Tallon Vohland... Colin Edwards
and Neil Hodgson split wins at the World Superbike round at Donington
Park... Alex Criville topped the French GP at Le Mans... Roger Lee
Hayden won his first professional race in the Wrenchhead.com Pro
Singles main at Indy.
