Thirty years ago, in issue 17, we featured our preview of the 1990 National
Road Race Series... Damon Bradshaw and Jean-Michele Bayle came
away with the 250cc-class wins at the Pontiac Supercross doubleheader.
Bradshaw finished ahead of Jeff Stanton and Mike LaRocco, while Bayle
shared the podium with LaRocco and
Jeff Ward. Denny Stephenson won
both days in the 125cc class.

Our V-twin Superbike Shootout was our featured article 20 years ago
and pictured on the cover was the Honda RC51 in action at Las Vegas
Speedway, where we conducted the four-bike test. The winner? Honda's
RC51... We also had a test of the handmade Honda-powered Segale
SVR1000R... Anthony Gobert and Troy Corser split wins at the FIM World
Superbike round at Phillip Island... We had coverage of the White Brothers
Four-Stroke World Championship. Doug Dubach out-dueled Spud Walters
for the win... We also had coverage of the Nevada 200 trail ride.
