Abbott says he will focus
mostly on EnduroCross
and the X Games.

"There's a few that are going to
shine a little more with this format
being a little more motocross/
Supercrossy," Abbott said. "For
instance, I think I'll be better than
normal EnduroCrosses because
I like that. That's more my style. It
will be more racey."
In preparation for the Interna-
tional X Games rounds, Abbott
is working on a new setup, and
a slightly different training regimen, even including some local
Arenacross-style racing.
"I'm running the KX250F with
a little bigger bore and TBT suspension. I've been riding more
moto on my 250F than I ever
have. I usually ride the 450 when
it comes to that; I'm a bigger guy
so the 250F is not perfect for me
to moto, but I'm feeling good on
it. I've been trying to get my corner speed up."
Even though the International
Enduro X competitions don't
count toward the GEICO AMA
EnduroCross Championship, Abbott is still putting his full effort
behind the X Games events. Although many racers may look at
