30 Years Ago MARCH 28, 1990 Jeff "Chicken" Matiasevich was pictured on the cover of Cycle News 30 years ago after winning the Las Vegas Supercross. It was the 20-year-old's first-ever Supercross win. Jean-Michel Bayle and Jeff Stanton joined Matiasevich on the podium; Jeremy McGrath won the 125cc class... We covered the Sand Flea 100 GNCC in Sanford, North Carolina, where Jeff Russell took the win...
