while taking the checkered flag at the Gatorback National MX in Florida was
pictured on the cover 30 years ago. Johnson won both 250cc motos for
his first win in a year. Mike Kiedrowski edged out Jean-Michel Bayle for

Suzuki introduced its latest GSX-R750 at the Misano Circuit, and we
were there to give it a whirl… Alan Cathcart told you what it was like
to ride Carl Fogerty's Ducati 996… We also tested the 2000 Honda
RC51… PACE Motor Sports had entered road racing for the first time
and its first race was the Wrenchhead.com National Road Race at
Daytona. John Hopkins and Grant Lopez were the Formula USA
Unlimited Superbike race winners… Randy Hawkins recorded his 59th
career win at the Desert Mountain Enduro in Lake Pleasant, Arizona.
