IIIMY OWN RACE:
3 ELI TOMAC
4TH 450SX
Eli Tomac had a really rough main
event but somehow s ll managed to
finish fourth, right on Cooper Webb in
third, and stay atop the points stand-
ings—albeit ed with Ken Roczen. He
and Jus n Barcia got into a stuff ba le
for a few laps in the early going as
well. "Just ba ling," Tomac said of his
get-together with Barcia. "I mean, if I
Barcia. Barcia started outside the
top 10, just as he had in previ-
ous weeks, and was charging
forward, as usual. Behind Barcia
at this point was Rockstar Energy
Husqvarna's Jason Anderson, his
teammate Dean Wilson, defend-
ing champ and "world's toughest

Aaron Plessinger, Justin Brayton
and Tomac.

race, as Barcia went by the two
Motoconcepts racers, Friese
and Hill, then shot past Davalos
and into second. Webb (Red Bull
KTMN) had Tomac latched onto
his rear fender in the closing laps
as he towed Tomac by Hill, and
then they both went by Davalos,
only for Tomac to come up just
short of passing Webb at the
finish, it was an exciting finish for
the remaining podium spots.
Roczen won it over Barcia,
Webb, Tomac, Davalos and the
rest of the field. Anderson went
down on the last lap while run-
ning seventh and ended up 11th.
"This was a fun race," Roczen
said. "I had a good gap, and that
makes it also difficult, because
