These Triple Crowns are really

And you see Ken [Roczen] win

BRIAN MOREAU
INJURY UPDATE
Last week, in what would've been
his first race for the TLD/Red Bull
KTM team, 18-year-old French
racer Brian Moreau went down
in practice and fractured his C7
vertebra and was rushed to a local
Tampa hospital. Luckily, the young
Frenchman had Marvin Musquin's
wife, Mathilde, at his side to help
with the American hospital and
staff. From the information released
since the accident, the bad news
is that Moreau doesn't have feeling
or movement in his legs. The silver
lining to this is that Moreau's spinal
cord has not been cut, but rather
compressed, so there's swelling
in his spine that seems likely to
be the culprit causing his current
paralysis. The hope is that as this
swelling goes down, he will regain
all of the feeling and movement that
he has lost. Surgery has already
been done to stabilize the fractured
C7 vertebra, and no matter what,
chances are his recovery will be
a long one. The Road 2 Recovery
Foundation has set up a fundraiser
to help Moreau with his medical
bills and related expenses, and
they're hoping to raise $200,000
for him. The link can be found here.
