Jus n Barcia kept his championship
hopes alive a er pu ng in three solid
performances. "It was strong racing
tonight in Dallas," Barcia said. "We got
a li le bit be er on the starts but s ll
needed something there to get us on
the podium. The track was not super
technical but took a few guys out of the
race. All in all, my race was really good.
I made charges and made passes. I felt
really strong and stayed in the hunt. My
starts are going to keep ge ng be er, I
just need to stay consistent."

Aaron Plessinger (Monster Energy
Yamaha) is s ll struggling to find his
speed and consistency in the 450SX
class, but he did post his best finish of
the season with eighth overall. "Dallas
was another step in the right direc on
for me," Plessinger said. "I felt good in
prac ce, was really flowing and riding
well. The dirt was a li le slick on top
but got ru ed and really rough. The
whoops broke down quite quickly, and
we were jumping them by the second
or third prac ce. I ended up eighth
overall, and that's my best finish so far
this year. Next week we'll go to Atlanta,
