including his wife, Lucy, Erik Ni-
jkamp, who helped promote the
event and secured many of the
vet ISDE riders who attended,
and Jack Penton, who acted as
master of ceremonies following
dinner Friday evening. And Mo-
tonation's own Jason Kilroy led

the troops on a dual sport ride
the next day.
Nearly 60 people attended
Friday night's get-together, 30
of whom were either ISDT or
ISDE veterans. Even though
this year's reunion was held in
California, that didn't stop many
East Coasters from attending,
including South Carolina's Randy
Hawkins, New Jersey's Fred
Hoess, Illinois' Jeff Fredette and
Tennessee's Terry Cunningham,
who lived in Ohio during his four
