Grand Tour First Look
T
he Multistrada model lineup has been bolstered by the arrival of the 2020 Ducati Multi-
strada 1260 S Grand Tour. The 2021 model year will see the debut of the V4 motor in the
Multistrada that has found its way into the Streetfighter, so for what could be the big bore
twin-cylinder's swan song, Ducati has graced it with a bunch of touring-specific goodies.
At $23,295 MSRP, the Grand Tour will get integrated panniers, an electric fuel cap, tire
pressure monitoring system, heated grips and fog lamps, all as standard equipment.
The rest is essentially what you had this year, with a Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit
operating at the heart of the electronics suite that includes traction control, wheelie control,
cornering ABS, cornering lights, an up/down quickshifter, cruise control, vehicle hold con-
trol for uphill starts, and the Skyhook electronic semi-active suspension.
The 1262cc Ducati Testastretta DVT engine knocks out a claimed 158 horsepower, 95
lb-ft of torque and pushes 525 pounds. CN
