OFF-ROAD AMA ENDUROCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 2 / OCTOBER 19, 2019 NATIONAL WESTERN EVENTS CENTER / DENVER, COLORADO P70 on Blazusiak but was not able to make a pass for the lead. Hart hung on for third. Gerston and Cullins rounded out the top five in moto one. MOTO 2 In moto two, the gate picks were reversed from the moto one results and SRT/Three Bros Husqvarna-backed Noah Kepple took the lead and led the first lap. Blazusiak came out second despite the second-row start and passed Kepple on lap two. Haaker moved past Kepple on lap three and again closed on Blazu- siak, but he again finished a close second. Kepple held on for third in the moto. Cullins and Hart fin- ished fourth and fifth respectively. HOT-LAP For the second EnduroCross round in a row, Blazusiak got the day started by setting the fastest time during the Seat Concepts Hot Laps, topping the Denver chart with a 48.618-second lap. Hart, TM's Ty Cullins, Haaker and Beta's Max Gerston round- ed out the top five. MOTO1 Hart took the Fox Holeshot in moto one with Cullins close behind. Blazusiak passed Cullins on lap two, but it took him until lap five of nine to pass Hart for the lead. Haaker completed lap one in fifth and worked his way through the field to pass Hart for second on lap six. He closed in in the three-moto format after a pretty bad crash in the third moto. Trystan Hart, the young Canadian, finished third overall after winning the final moto. The EnduroCross series now uses a three-moto format for the Super EnduroCross (Pro) class. An afternoon hot lap determines the moto-one gate picks and then moto-two gate picks are inverted from the moto one results. The final moto gate picks are based on the moto-two re- sults. With only eight gates and 16 riders, all of the riders start on the second row at least once. Blazusiak took the overall win with 1-1-2 scores. Haaker had 2-2-4 finishes and Hart logged a strong 3-5-1 tally. Colton Haaker was fast but subpar starts had him chasing Taddy Blazusiak most of the night. A crash early in the third moto snuffed out any chance for the overall.
