Red Bull rider Matt Bisceglia
had a tough week. After finishing
a strong third in the first 250cc
A Mod moto, Bisceglia took a
header and was diagnosed with
a concussion, ending his week
way too early.
Monster Energy Kawasaki
Team Green rider Colt Nichols
was on top of the leaderboard all
week, even though he did not win
a title, Nichols was always a frontrunner in the Pro and A ranks.
The 450cc Pro class was filled
with fast riders, including Thomas
Covington, Chris Alldredge, Tyler
Enticknap, RJ Hampshire, Colt
Nichols, Anthony Rodriguez, and
McElrath. But Florida's RJ Hampshire took them all to town. He
got off to fast starts in both motos
and held on to take the title.
Yamaha rider Anthony Rodriguez placed second overall with
a 2-2, and it was a close battle
between he and Hampshire. In
moto two, Rodriguez finished just
1.054 seconds behind Hampshire.
Rodriguez, however, claimed
the 450cc A Mod Championship,
but not without a fight from Luke
Renzland, Hampshire, McElrath
and Alldredge. Rodriguez ended
up going 4-1 and bringing the title
back to Cairo, Georgia.
Team Green Kawasaki rider
Austin Forkner swept the Supermini classes, winning every moto.
The Missouri-native definitely
made a statement in the mini, as
he posted the fastest time in the
Supermini (14-16) class.
Tristan Miller also had a great
run in the Supermini classes. He
