Hare Scrambles Shootout

eta's Joe Wasson proved just as adept at threading through the
trees as he is at speeding down sand washes when he con-
vincingly topped the 2nd Annual AMA East-West Hare Scrambles
Shootout at the Stillwater 500 Moto Park which is the closest thing to
middle ground there is, geographically speaking at least.
The race served as round seven for both the Kenda/SRT AMA West
Hare Scrambles (WHS) Regional Championship Series, and the SRT
AMA East Hare Scrambles (EHS) Regional Championship Series with
Wasson's teammate (both Beta USA and West Coast) Max Gerston
minimizing the damage by running to second, allowing him to hold on
to his series points lead, 185-169, with just the finale remaining.
But it wasn't a complete West Region rout, as Pennsylvania's
Hunter Bush came back from a last-place start to uphold East Coast

markable third overall after more
than three hugely physical hours
